Ms. Joan Smith
Nevadans for Safe Energy
13 West Cactus Street, Suite 600
Las Vegas, NV 33456

Dear Ms. Smith:

I am writing to confirm your participation in the 1991 Social Change Career Fair on Wednesday, March 20, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm in Grant Gymnasium at the University of Southern Nevada.

Nevadans for Safe Energy will be provided with a table during the fair, for the placement of any articles, flyers, newsletters, books and other information you bring to disseminate to interested students. Preparing a standing display board for your table -- showing photos and posters from recent campaigns, fact sheets about issues you work on, stickers and buttons with slogans -- works best to bring students unfamiliar with your organization to your table.

Please plan to arrive on campus by 12:00 pm to set up your table and to meet students as they come from consumer advocate Ralph Nader's speech at 11:00 am. If you will need audiovisual equipment to show a film, video or slideshow, let us know as-soon as possible so that we can reserve their use.

A booklet with information on all social change groups participating in the fair is being prepared, for distribution to students before and during the fair. Your responses in the enclosed questionnaire will be photocopied for this booklet. Please type your replies neatly on this form and return it by Monday, March 11 to Social Change Career Fair, Box 7M7, University of Southern Nevada, Las Vegas, NV 33456.

Also enclosed is a map of the campus, a flyer to let co-workers and constituents know about the fair, a schedule of the day's events and a preliminary list of other social change groups whose representatives will be in attendance.

I look forward to meeting you at the fair. Please contact me at (702) 521-9008 if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,
Ray Whitmore
Coordinator
Social Change Career Fair
